Course overview
This four-year qualification tackles the challenges of contemporary food systems, exploring the fundamental question of how we are to feed ourselves well, ethically and sustainably. With an emphasis on critical thinking, creativity and experiential learning, you will develop deep food systems knowledge alongside specialised skills in fermentation, sensory education and cookery. Become equipped to engage in food policy debates, effectively communicate complex issues to non-specialist audiences and help shape and promote the development of sustainable and ethical food systems, now and into the future.
In the final year of this program, you will apply your knowledge in a practical context, develop your professional networks and gain real world experience. By the end of the course, you will have made a practical contribution to the food community and enhanced your career and postgraduate study prospects.
