Course overview
The course is for students wishing to gain employment in the music industry. It is designed to expose students to and teach them a diverse range of both Audio Production and Music related skills Core study areas include Advanced Audio Recording, Mixing and Producing, Music Theory, Advanced Music Production (DAW), Aural Training, Music Business and History. Choose from a wide range of performance and composition electives and take advantage of opportunities to perform in bands, ensembles and choirs, and study areas such as Film Scoring and Sound Design. You will have access to state-of-the art computer labs and studio facilities as well as the opportunity to collaborate with music students in other streams. Upon completion of this course you will have a portfolio of recorded material and be ready to find employment in music and related industries.
