This course prepares you for a wide range of careers in fashion retail business. These positions may include digital marketer, fashion buyer, trend forecaster, product developer, merchandise allocator, inventory analyst, and production coordinator. You will not only learn from practising academics but also mentored by industry professionals. If you are creative and business minded, you will enjoy various challenges along your learning journey. The industry projects not only give you the opportunity to gain insight of current practice in industry but also to be able to apply your learning to solve real issues in real time. One of the key components of this course is digital merchandising, which focuses on marketing through current and new technologies. You will learn how to market your brand using social media, and merchandise a virtual fashion boutique and develop a fashion website. You will learn design principles, and how to research trends and develop fashion ranges.
