Course overview

This four-year integrated undergraduate/Honours degree is designed to give you an understanding of human behaviour, motivation, relationships and communication. In the first three years you will complete a major in Psychology and specialised units in Social Research Methods and Interpersonal and Organisational Skills, and complete an independent research project. In fourth year, you will undertake advanced studies in quantitative or qualitative social research methods, professional practice units (psychological assessment and ethics) and a research thesis. Progression to fourth year is dependent on meeting specific academic standards. If you successfully complete the first three years but do not meet the required academic standards, you will exit and graduate with a Bachelor of Psychological Studies.
