Course overview
This double degree will prepare you for work in fields where law, psychology and mental health merge. You will study a number of units including criminal law, intercultural and developmental issues in psychology, clinical aspects of psychology and interviewing and advocacy skills. The combined degree equips you with an understanding of yourself and others, including clients and those involved in the legal and psychological studies fields.
This course combines core law units with units of legal study which cover the requisite areas of knowledge (also referred to as the 'Priestley Eleven'), together with practical subjects such as analytical legal writing, drafting, communication and advocacy. It also comprises a range of Law electives that cover a broad range of legal areas.

- Current Year 12 graduates ATAR This course uses the ATAR as part of its selection considerations. High Performance Sport Adjustment Applicants who participate in high level sport (players, coaches and officials) can apply to receive an adjustment of 5 ATAR points (recent secondary applicants only) or additional consideration towards their selection rank (all other applicants). Subject adjustment A study score of 35 in English (EAL) equals 5 aggregate points per study. A study score of 30 in English other than EAL, any History, Legal Studies, Australian Politics, Global Politics or Psychology equals 5 aggregate points per study. Overall maximum of 20 points. SEAS (Special Entry Access Scheme) Applicants who have experienced educational disadvantage are encouraged to apply for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS).
