Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours)

This is a 4-year embedded honours course for high-achieving students wishing to pursue next level careers in health & medical research fields. The course offers mentorship from researchers, exclusive networking opportunities & immersive engagement with research teams offered by Academic Community of Excellence program. You will learn about how the human body functions from cells to tissues, organs & systems. You will gain an understanding of human anatomy, cell biology, immunology, physiology & pathology and learn about the cellular and molecular processes of human diseases, their origins and how they can be prevented, treated or cured. You can choose a specialist minor in Medical Biotechnology or Clinical Health. In your final year you will learn about the research process and modern technologies used in biomedical research. The course is ideal for students wishing to pursue a career in medical research or graduate entry into health courses such as medicine or physiotherapy.
