Course overview

This one year pathway is designed for students who want to gain entry into the Bachelor of Psychological Science. Students who successfully complete all topics in this pathway program and achieve an overall Credit average or above can apply to transfer into the Bachelor Psychological Science.

Students who do not achieve the required grade point average or who do not wish to pursue the Psychological Science degree can instead apply for the Bachelor of Arts. Topics undertaken in the pathway year will be recognised towards the Bachelor of Psychological Science. Students who transfer into the Bachelor of Arts may also receive credit and will be provided with a broad range of disciplinary and interdisciplinary studies from across the University, with a strong focus on aspects of human culture and achievement. This will result in a sound basis of knowledge in their chosen areas of study, which will enable them to analyse, synthesise and communicate knowledge in two or more areas of study.

The Bachelor of Psychological Science degree is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council.
