Course overview
The Undergraduate Certificate of Photography is an exciting newly accredited fully FEE-HELP enabled higher education course that provides a comprehensive introductory tertiary level photographic qualification. During this 6 month course, you will cover the visual and technical aspects needed to produce creative photographic images, ensuring you gain comprehensive skills in camera craft, workflow and digital post production.
By exploring a range of photographic genres and visual approaches, you will develop your photography practice, as well as exploring the history of photography and the influence it has had on contemporary photographic styles. This course also provides pathways into further study or employment.
Once completed, you are eligible for Advanced Standing into the Bachelor of Photography and Digital Imaging degree qualification - direct entry into Semester 2 of the 1st year. Alternatively, it will prepare you for support roles in photography and the creative industries.
