Course overview
This course provides you with knowledge and skills in developing movement skills, physical activities and movement concepts as a foundation for physical activity participation and enhanced movement. The course provides an opportunity for those who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in secondary physical education and provides a pathway into the Bachelor level courses in Physical Education.
The Undergraduate Certificate in Secondary Physical Education provides discipline specific studies in physical education that are required for the specialist area of physical education that are not usually part of sport or exercise science courses, such as athletics, aquatics, games and sports, rhythmic and expressive movement, and growth and motor development.

Work/life experience Five years (minimum) work/life experience in Health or Human Sciences, Training & Development, Community Sports or similar. OR: Completion of an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate more than two years ago PLUS Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or 20 in any other English (or equivalent).
