The Undergraduate Certificate in Health Science combines first year units that introduce foundational knowledge of the Australian healthcare system. This certificate provides an understanding of the Australian indigenous health context, cultural safety and respect, the means to understand, and communicate, what is evidence in healthcare, and a basic understanding of how the healthcare system works in Australia

Work/life experience Five years (minimum) work/life experience in Health Sciences or similar. OR: Completion of an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate more than two years ago PLUS Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or 20 in any other English (or equivalent).
