Course overview

As an RMIT aviation student, you’ll be prepared for employment in a range of operational, management and piloting roles in the dynamic and vibrant aviation industry. This course focuses on pilot training. You’ll gain the necessary theory and flight training to become a professional pilot, with a Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) recognised Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL) once all relevant training and examinations have been completed. Pilot training is delivered at the Point Cook or Bendigo campus. You’ll develop skills and knowledge in aviation operations and management, and have the opportunity to tailor your degree to your preferred area of future employment. The course also offers a career development option for people who already hold a Commercial Pilot's Licence accredited by CASA - these applicants will gain credit for up to one year (96 credit points).  RMIT also offers an aviation operations and management course, for information see VTAC course code: 3200332913
