Course overview

The degree integrates the four major disciplines of science (mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology) into a common unified curriculum for two years - taken in India - followed by a diverse choice of majors from science, technology, engineering and health sciences and an advanced specialized year of study which includes a minor research thesis. The final two years of study are completed in Melbourne. Students will be equipped with a range of knowledge and skills to enhance and extend their science studies. The degree will provide flexible pathways to employment, research higher degrees and many professional postgraduate programs.

  • In India, students enter the program through partner institutions in India, commencing with a Bachelor of Science). The selection for this program is based on the students results in Year 12 in India. Students must have completed Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics to be prepared for comprehensive first and second year in science. In Australia To continue with the dual degree students must complete first 200 points of study in the BSc(Blended) with an equivalent WAM of 70 and satisfy the University of Melbourne undergraduate English language requirement.
