Course overview
The Bachelor of Information Technology (Data Engineering) provides you with the essential knowledge and technical skills for the design, implementation, and management of 'big data', data systems and their infrastructure to support big data solutions. There is a growing demand for professionals with the experience and qualifications to build IT solutions and manage big data. At TAFE NSW we have strong partnership arrangements with industry partners such as Cisco, AWS, Microsoft, and NDG. Standard entry
- A NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent as evidenced by a certified copy of your certificate or transcript OR
- A Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation or its equivalent as evidenced by a certified copy of your certificate or transcript OR
- Have mathematics knowledge to HSC-level or equivalent before entering this course, or you may be required to undertake a bridging program or preparatory course.
- INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS: International applicants must meet proof of eligibility and course entry requirements. In addition, international applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate English proficiency at a minimum IELTS level of 6.5 with a minimum level of 6 in any one band.
