The Master of Professional Engineering is a 2-year degree where graduates will meet the Stage 1 academic requirements for status as a professional engineer, subject to Engineers Australia accreditation. It develops high level technical and theoretical knowledge and skills with an industry focus and international perspective. Students will interact with world-class researchers through a combination of coursework and research based activities. Completion of this course will allow graduates to also apply for entry into a Doctoral degree.

Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.
Postgraduate entry
Applicants require a 4-year Engineering degree from a recognised institution in the same discipline of study.
Students who have completed the Graduate Diploma in Professional Engineering degree at Curtin will be considered to have met the above course requirement.
