Course overview
The Diploma of Cybersecurity will equip you with the skills you need for an exciting career in cybersecurity. Designed, developed and delivered by industry, this course ensures you'll gain the practical, technical and theoretical skills that are in demand amid a global rise in cybercrime.
The course will develop your IT skills, with subjects including programming, data and networking, cloud computing, software engineering and cybersecurity principles. Our human-centric design focus makes this course unique and, upon graduating, you'll possess the ability to apply cybersecurity principles towards developing ICT solutions that consider ethical and social responsibilities.
This course has been co-developed with industry-leading ICT practitioners and academics, and is structured to meet the Australian Computer Society's Core Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and Cybersecurity Body of Knowledge (CyBOK).

Standard entry
- Recent secondary Qualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) or equivalent recent year 12 qualification (including the International Baccalaureate Diploma). Higher Ed Completed or partially completed a recognised higher education program at a recognised higher education institution, or Completed a University Foundation Studies, Bridging or Enabling program Work-Life Other Completed a non-recent SACE or equivalent secondary education qualification with a competitive selection rank, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB), or STAT multiple choice test (optional), or Personal competencies and/or employment experience (optional) If you have studied at higher education level in the last two years, you must not have accumulated more than a total of two full-time years of higher education study in order to use your STAT/PCA/Employment results. If you have been employed in the Australian Defence Force you may be eligible to apply for an undergraduate course on the basis of your service. See here .
