Bachelor of Education (Inclusive Education)

The Bachelor of Education (Inclusive Education) is an initial teacher education degree to teach in primary educational settings. You will develop in-depth curriculum and pedagogy knowledge across the curriculum with a specific focus on inclusive education aligned with state and national curriculum frameworks. Successful completion will enable you to apply for registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.

The degree provides a balance of education learning theory with specialised content knowledge and applied pedagogical approaches with the aim of bridging the theory and practice nexus so that inclusive education is a synergistic progressive space for growth. In addition to engagement with all areas of the curriculum, students will study an integrated science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) specialisation in addition to an academic major in inclusive education that supports students to understand and apply Multi-Tiered Systems of Support across schooling.

Enabling Educator Excellence Scholarship

Commencing students in this degree will be eligible to apply for the Enabling Educator Excellence (E3) Scholarship funded by the South Australian Government valued at $5,000.
