The Bachelor of Communication program will provide you with the skills to stand out as an exceptional communicator in any task. Our flexible Bachelor of Communication provides you with the opportunity to explore many options in personalising your learning. As part of the program, you will select either a major or minor in a specific area of interest. These areas include public relations, advertising, journalism, corporate storytelling, creative writing, digital media, film and television, and social media. Our subjects contain assessments that may lead you to produce advertising and public relations campaigns for real clients as well as blogs, podcasts, published media stories, and websites. You will have the opportunity to gain insight into communication in various contexts, including interpersonal, intercultural, gender, and persuasive communication. Our graduates are now working with leading advertising agencies, as award-winning investigative journalists, in public relations consultancies, in marketing roles, in corporate training, and in other roles that reflect the evolving nature of communication practices. Altogether, the degree offers students a stimulating course of study and excellent career prospects.

Students must complete either one specialist major (60 credit points), or one specialist minor (40 credit points) plus two general electives (20 credit points). Either option comprises of 60 credit points in total.
