Course overview

By combining technical skills across all aspects of computer technology with an in-depth understanding of accounting, business information systems, data analytics and finance, this dual degree will set students up for thriving careers in finance and technology. In the commerce component students gain knowledge and an understanding of business value in various environments, and learn how to create and analyse computer-based systems. In the computer science component, students can deep dive into their area of interest and explore topics such as data science, cyber security and artificial intelligence, among others. These specialist areas will have a huge impact on the future of finance and corporate environments. Graduates may find work in the public or private sectors in accounting, banking, financial management, business analysis, cyber security, data science, business information systems and general management, or large corporations.
