Course overview
As a graduate, you have specialised skills for challenging and complex practice in a variety of settings including mental health, drug and alcohol prevention, and disabilities, and in the development and delivery of community services, counselling, and family-centred intervention. You can choose elective units in areas of psychology and social work including family and youth services, community practice, and international social work. A social work honours program based on GPA is available at the end of third year. This course is an Australian Association of Social Workers accredited qualification. Registration to practise as a psychologist requires further study.
