Course overview
In the higher education diploma year, students develop fundamental academic skills, cementing their knowledge in core concepts and skills required for a career in science. Students develop an in-depth knowledge of new forensic analytical methods and innovations, gaining valuable experience from real casework. Students practice presenting expert evidence in moot courts and learn from academic staff who have ties to international projects and who provide evidence in Australian courts. On successful completion of the diploma, students progress into the Bachelor of Forensic Science with credit.
