Course overview
Our Bachelor of Criminology and Justice gives you deep insight into why we behave the way we do, and the effect our justice system has on our future actions.
Many of the ACAP teaching staff are qualified practitioners in the field. Classes are taught by lawyers, police officers, criminologists, psychologists and other professionals who bring compelling real-life case studies to the classroom. Work placement offers hands-on experience in a selection of organisations and sectors such as Victoria Police, the Department of Justice, in the court system or at law firms, in the community welfare sector or at correctional centres.
With elective units covering a range of areas including law, forensic psychology, policing, terrorism, mental health and youth justice, students are able to complete electives that complement their career aspirations or wider interests.
