The Diploma of Counselling Skills provides an introduction to the field of counselling and provides graduates with a strong skills foundation and theory base from which to provide community service and counselling support within the community services and health industries. The course introduces students to counselling theories as well as an understanding of mental health and wellness, ethical and legal practice, and personal and professional development.
