Educational outcomes considered for selection
Completion of an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate (VCE or equivalent).
SEAS (Special Entry Access Scheme)
Applicants who have experienced educational disadvantage are encouraged to apply for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS).
Depending on eligibility and your circumstances, a SEAS application may provide support for your course application.

Applicants with Higher Education study
Entire academic record
This course uses the entire academic record as part of its selection considerations.
Bridging and enabling courses
Completion of a bridging or enabling course e.g.
Foundation course or equivalent.
Higher Education studies
Full or partial completion of an Australian Higher Education award (or equivalent), or completion of two units of Higher Education studies.
Applicants with VET study
VET studies
Completion of an Australian Advanced Diploma or Diploma (or equivalent), or completion of the Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation (or equivalent).
Applicants with work and life experienceVTAC Personal Statement
Applicants who wish other criteria to be considered such as work/life experience or motivation to study should complete the VTAC Personal Statement.
Supporting documentation should include a current resume and any other relevant evidence e.g. letter from employer, professional development activities etc.
Work/Life Experience
Five years (minimum) work/life experience in Health Sciences or similar, or applicants that completed an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate more than two years ago, plus units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or 20 in any other English (or equivalent), and a study score of 20 of one of the following: Biology, Chemistry, Health and Human Development, any Mathematics or Physical Education (or equivalent).
