Course overview

This graduate degree package allows you to attain an undergraduate qualification in the Bachelor of Design and a Masters-level qualification in the Master of Teaching. It guarantees high-achieving students a Commonwealth Supported Place or International Fee Place in one of the streams of the Master of Teaching.

No minimum weighted average mark (WAM) is required in the Bachelor of Design to progress to the Master of Teaching, however students will need to pass the Teacher Capability Assessment Tool (TCAT). The TCAT can be completed during Year 12 or during the Bachelor of Design.  At the end of the second year students will nominate which of the four Master of Teaching courses they are interested in pursuing and students who successfully complete the Bachelor of Design* will automatically progress to the relevant stream of the Master of Teaching.

* Applicants intending to progress to the Master of Teaching (Secondary) must also satisfy the requirements for two learning areas.
