Course overview

This graduate degree package allows you to attain an undergraduate qualification in the Bachelor of Science and a Masters-level qualification in the Doctor of Optometry. It guarantees high-achieving students a Commonwealth Supported Place or International Fee Place in the Doctor of Optometry.

A minimum weighted average mark (WAM) of at least 75% is required in the Bachelor of Science to progress to the Doctor of Optometry, however applicants are not required to sit the Graduate Australian Medical School Admissions Test (GAMSAT) (or equivalent). Students who successfully complete the Bachelor of Science with the required WAM, including passing all subjects which are prerequisites for the graduate degree on their first attempt, will automatically progress to the Doctor of Optometry.

The Doctor of Optometry is only available full time (4 years duration).
