Accredited by Engineers Australia, this course provides a flexible pathway to an engineering degree. The Associate Degree in Engineering has been designed to equip you with a broad theoretical and technical knowledge of the underlying principles of engineering.  You will learn to analyse and interpret complex problems, communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders, and find effective solutions to the issues facing industry. All students study common first year subjects. After the first year, you then choose to focus on 1 of the 5 majors in the second year. Available majors are: Mechanical Aerospace Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics Electrical and Electronics Civil Engineering

Standard entry

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in English other than EAL or at least 23 in English as an Additional Language; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in any Mathematics.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.

English requirement
IELTS Academic 6, no band below 5.5

If your current English result is below direct entry, consider the university-recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package; successful completion at the required level can usually satisfy English entry without another English test.
