Course overview

Students will gain knowledge and skills in negotiation, humanitarian and development assistance, political economy, foreign policy, intercultural, social, and linguistic issues and processes. Undertake a professional internship with an international organisation either in Australia or overseas and have access to overseas exchange programs and study tours as part of a close-knit and vibrant student community.

This course provides the flexibility to engage with the challenges, opportunities and diversity brought about by a rapidly changing global environment without committing to a specific International Studies major.

Graduates possess the initiative, independence, language and entrepreneurial skills to face the challenges of working and managing within and across culturally diverse environments.  From aiding refugees in the Middle East to working with a Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, graduates of this program land upon a range of careers across the globe.
