Course overview

This course is the perfect blend of creativity and business tailored for the fashion and textile industry. Its global perspective helps students pursue a career in buying, product development, e-fashion commerce, fashion marketing, retail management, planning, and allocation, both locally and globally.

Students learn how to analyse, develop and implement product and brand strategies, explore buying and merchandising practices, and plan and execute successful retail strategies. Students bring fashion from around the globe to the local retail environment. Problem solving, creative thinking and teamwork are employability skills embedded throughout the course to help students to be work-ready.

Students work in teams on industry-based projects such as The Retail Initiative (TRI) with big names in fashion, such as Myer, Sportsgirl, Country Road, Kmart, Target and Supre. You'll work with and be guided by fashion industry professionals in collaboration with teaching mentors.
