Are you ready to learn how to navigate ever-changing international environments? Develop the ability to understand, respect and work effectively across all types of cultures by studying Deakin’s Bachelor of International Studies (Global Scholar). Gain foundation knowledge of the international political climate and travel overseas to begin building a global career. 

Designed for high-achieving students, you will proactively build a professional portfolio of international experiences while learning about the forces that shape government, business and society throughout Australia and the world. Understand how events of the past have contributed to today’s environment and apply transversal and analytical skills to reflect on the past and tackle the future. You will learn what it takes to establish and maintain a professional presence as an international relations professional and build a graduate portfolio that highlights your key learning outcomes.

Current Year 12 graduates

ATAR

This course uses the ATAR as part of its selection considerations.

Subject adjustment

A study score of 30 in any English, any History, any LOTE or Politics equals 2 aggregate points per study.

Overall maximum of 12 points.

SEAS (Special Entry Access Scheme)

Applicants who have experienced educational disadvantage are encouraged to apply for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS).

Depending on eligibility and your circumstances, a SEAS application may provide support for your course application.
