Course overview

Analyse and address problems where criminology and business intersect by studying Deakin’s Bachelor of Criminology/Bachelor of Business. Learn about business fundamentals, the Australian criminal justice system and the causes and impacts of crime. Through criminology, you will examine individual and organised criminal activities, from homicide and domestic assault to environmental crime and illicit digital surveillance. Ranked #3 in the state of Victoria and recognised globally, Deakin Business School offers a Bachelor of Business that builds practical, enterprise ready skills in leadership, strategy, project management, entrepreneurship, marketing and people management. You will tackle contemporary business challenges while building skills and confidence for a fast-changing workforce. Subject adjustment

A study score of 30 in Maths: Mathematical Methods or Maths: Specialist Mathematics equals 3 aggregate points per study.

A study score of 30 in any Business, English other than EAL, any History, any Information Technology, Legal Studies, Maths: General Mathematics, Philosophy, Politics, Psychology or Sociology equals 2 aggregate points per study.

Overall maximum of 12 points.

SEAS (Special Entry Access Scheme)

Applicants who have experienced educational disadvantage are encouraged to apply for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS).
