This degree provides you with a broad and coherent set of knowledge and skills required to manage the interaction between people and the environment to ensure our ecological, social, and economic sustainability.
You will be encouraged to tailor both your learning and professional practice to suit your individual interest and career aspirations in environment management and sustainability. Areas of interest include ecology and conservation, protected area management, climate change and sustainability, and earth sciences.

Practical experience
Field trips and study tours to a range of different Australian ecosystems and environments including desert, national parks, high country and coastal zones. Build professional networks and industry experience through work integrated learning embedded at each level of the degree.
Students also have opportunities to complete supported international study tours that develop professional skills and global perspectives about conservation and sustainability.
