Course overview

Get the skills for a huge range of exciting career opportunities with our double degree in information technology and business. With technology playing a growing role in all aspects of business, students will develop skills that are highly desired by employers and they will be ready to take up a range of roles in areas such as data science, business analytics and artificial intelligence.

Students learn to read and analyse data, be introduced to the fundamentals of programming, data science, AI, machine learning and how to build web and mobile apps.  At that same time, students build up a knowledge of key business concepts and learn essential skills working through real-world situations related to money, markets, HRM and management.

Assumed knowledge: English Standard (Band 2) or English as an Additional Language or Dialect (Band 3), Mathematics Advanced (not Mathematics Standard 2).
