The Bachelor of Human Sciences will provide you with the opportunity to develop a fundamental interdisciplinary understanding of human function and behaviour and the manner in which it adapts to challenging and disruptive change. During your first two and a half years you will complete a double major in Neuroscience and a combination of Anatomy and Physiology. The benefits of this combination are that you will gain both depth and breadth of knowledge about the human brain and behaviour.
The Master of Biomedical Science provides an in depth focus on applying Neuroscience in the context of human health. The unit sequence integrates genetics and public health, which are highly relevant to understanding the impact and management of the genetic and environmental risk factors of the devastating neurological conditions that disproportionately contribute to the health challenges in our ageing population.
The final year provides outstanding practical experiences through case studies and direct interactions with patients with neurological conditions, introduction to advanced scientific research technologies, as well as the opportunity to apply neuroscience principles to sport science and exercise physiology.
