Pursue your passions and maximise your career options with our combined bachelor's degree in Modern Languages and Science. You’ll graduate with two degrees in just four years, a Bachelor of Modern Languages with a major in one language and a minor in a second language, and a Bachelor of Science where you’ll choose from a wide range of options.

If you decide either degree isn't right for you, you can exit one and complete the other.

UWA’s unique Bachelor of Modern Languages enables you to achieve a high level of competency in one language and functional levels of competency in a second language in the four macro skills of reading, listening, speaking, and writing.
Discipline areas in the Bachelor of Science range from cutting-edge pure and applied science to new multidisciplinary fields of science. Acquiring the communication and research skills embedded throughout each major, you will be well prepared for many diverse and exciting careers.

Majors
You will combine one major and minor from the Bachelor of Modern Languages as well as one major from the Bachelor of Science.
A major in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences from the Bachelor of Science is not available to be take under this combined bachelor's degree.
Entry requirements
Switch between domestic ATAR data and international qualification equivalents.
IB Diploma
24-26Use the ATAR 70 band together with the relevant qualification and prerequisite requirements.
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result. Always confirm exclusions for professional registration courses and the offer conditions.
