Course overview

Pursue your passions and maximise your career options with our combined bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and Business. You’ll graduate with two degrees in just four years by completing a Bachelor of Modern Languages with a major in one language and minor in a second language, and one major in the Bachelor of Business

Why study this course?

In the global business landscape, it is increasingly important to be well-versed in the languages and cultural nuances of other countries. This is the key to the success of any international business venture.

In a competitive employment market, you will maximise your career options by developing proficiencies in two languages along with transferable analytical business and problem-solving skills highly sought-after by employers across the globe. You will graduate with two qualifications, having cut two years off the time it takes you to study two degrees. If you decide either degree isn’t right for you, you can exit one and complete the other.

What will I learn

You’ll learn relevant, practical skills across a range of business areas including business management, global business, and enterprise and innovation. Students who undertake this combined degree will also achieve high levels of competency in one language and functional levels of competency in a second language in the four macro skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing. This combination will prepare you for work within global organisations.
