This degree is designed to give you a basis in, and appreciation of, psychology, as well as specific business skills in human resource management. You will begin with an introduction to all major areas of knowledge in psychology, computer literacy, elementary research methods and statistics for health sciences. You will also learn how to interview and report on research exercises. Combined with the human resource management component, this unique degree provides you the opportunity to explore theoretical and practical knowledge and research skills required for your career in psychology and human resource management.

Professional Recognition: Upon graduating, you will be eligible to apply for membership to the Australian Human Resource Institute. To be eligible for Provisional Registration as a psychologist, or Associate Membership of the Australian Psychological Society, a further year of undergraduate psychology study is required. Registration as a psychologist requires completion of a one-year professional masters with one year internship, or a two-year Master of Psychology degree following an accredited four year undergraduate psychology degree.
