Chinese is comprised of a variety of closely related languages and dialects, is spoken by 1.3 billion people, and is one of the top five working languages of the United Nations. As one of the world’s most vibrant economies, China is an important trade partner for Australia. This major is designed to provide you with a high level of literacy in Chinese language (listening, speaking, reading and writing) as well as an understanding of Chinese culture and society.

- All applicants General Admission Criteria apply to this course. See information for this course on TISC's website . Applicants with work and life experience STAT is accepted for entry. Elements considered: Written English and either Verbal or Quantitative.
