Course overview

Applicants will enhance their skillset, knowledge, and leadership abilities in ways that allow for diverse interests and flexible unit selection. Students will apply a selection of the pedagogical frameworks and principles of design thinking, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) teaching, leadership frameworks and values, dependant on the units completed from the eight offerings associated with the STEM Education and Educational Leadership Graduate Certificates.

Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.

Postgraduate entry

Current registration as a teacher at proficient level or higher with an Australian regulatory authority/registration authority (e.g.

TQI, NESA)

OR

A three-year undergraduate degree in Education or relevant field as approved by the University of Canberra, and at least three years' FTE professional experience in education

Graduate/Post-Graduate education qualifications as approved by the University of Canberra.
