Students will apply a selection of the pedagogical frameworks and principles of design thinking, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) teaching, leadership frameworks and values, dependant on the units completed from the eight offerings associated with the STEM Education and Educational Leadership Graduate Certificates.
Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.
Current registration as a teacher at proficient level or higher with an Australian regulatory authority/registration authority (e.g.
TQI, NESA)
A three-year undergraduate degree in Education or relevant field as approved by the University of Canberra, and at least three years' FTE professional experience in education
Graduate/Post-Graduate education qualifications as approved by the University of Canberra.
If your current English result is below direct entry, consider the university-recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package; successful completion at the required level can usually satisfy English entry without another English test.
