Studying in the heart of Melbourne, you will strengthen your analytical and problem-solving abilities, while developing a sound understanding of the key principles of finance, econometrics, research and the analysis of financial markets. You will have access to comprehensive financial databases and use sophisticated software in the RMIT Trading Facility to perform option simulations and treasury dealing. This standalone qualification can also be a pathway further learning in the finance industry, and can lead to a successful career in banking, stockbroking, funds management, insurance, superannuation or the government sector.

You must have successfully completed an Australian Bachelor degree(or equivalent overseas qualification) or higher level qualification in any discipline.
You may also be considered if you have a minimum of 5 years full-time equivalent work experience.
If your current English result is below direct entry, consider the university-recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package; successful completion at the required level can usually satisfy English entry without another English test.
