Course overview
In the BFA Props and Effects, you will learn to become an adaptive and multiskilled designer-maker, ready to join the arts and entertainment industries in areas including theatre, film, exhibitions and events. Working in a small cohort and on individual and collaborative practical projects, you will develop skills in conceptualization, problem-solving, and the realization of props and practical effects. You will be introduced to traditional techniques such as drawing, drafting, sculpting, metalwork, woodwork, leatherwork, Mould making and casting, pattern making, scenic art and model making.
