The Master of Primary Teaching offers an exciting pathway to becoming a qualified teacher, focusing on educating children from Prep to Year 6. This program is designed for those who hold a bachelor's degree in another field and wish to transition into teaching.
Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.
Applicants will need a completed Bachelor degree (or equivalent) that does not lead to teacher registration (with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.0 on a 7-point scale) with significant breadth of study to address the range of teaching areas expected by employers.
If your current English result is below direct entry, consider the university-recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package; successful completion at the required level can usually satisfy English entry without another English test.
