Course overview

Launch a career that connects data and strategy with Deakin’s Master of Business Analytics, building on the state of Victoria’s first and most established business analytics program. You will learn how to govern, manage and analyse data to produce evidence-based recommendations, drawing on data visualisation and storytelling, predictive analytics, business intelligence and artificial intelligence. Entry requirements

Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.

Postgraduate entry

1 year full time (or part time equivalent) 8 credit points:

  • completion of a bachelor degree (honours) (AQF 8) or higher in a related discipline
  • completion of a bachelor degree in a related discipline, and at least two years of relevant work experience (or part time equivalent)
  • completion of a graduate certificate or graduate diploma or higher in a related discipline.
  • 1.5 years full time (or part time equivalent) 12 credit points:
  • completion of a bachelor degree or higher in a related discipline
  • completion of a bachelor degree or higher in any discipline, and at least two years of relevant work experience (or part time equivalent).
  • 2 years full time (or part time equivalent) 16 credit points:
  • completion of a bachelor degree or higher in any discipline.
English requirement
IELTS Academic 6.5, no band below 6

If your current English result is below direct entry, consider the university-recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package; successful completion at the required level can usually satisfy English entry without another English test.
