The Health & Physical Education degree is a four-year specialist teaching qualification. It aims to provide the essential knowledge, practical skills and leadership qualities for future teachers who want to improve the health, wellbeing and physical literacy of young people in our community. Graduates are reflective practitioners with problem-solving skills who enjoy working with children and young people, and who have the ability to influence and teach others how to manage their health through physical activity. - Applicants with recent Secondary Education: Indicative ATAR of 70 with a score of 50+ in ATAR English, ATAR Literature or ATAR English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) OR Minimum International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 24
- OR Successful completion of the Notre Dame Tertiary Pathway Program or of another Enabling Program at a level deemed sufficient by the University. Applicants with recent Secondary Education: Indicative ATAR of 70 with a score of 50+ in ATAR English, ATAR Literature or ATAR English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) OR Minimum International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 24 Applicants with Higher Education Study Other university studies completed at undergraduate level or higher, a minimum of 4 successfully completed subjects OR Successful completion of the Notre Dame Tertiary Pathway Program or of another Enabling Program at a level deemed sufficient by the University.
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result.
