Course overview
The Bachelor of Educational Studies is designed for students who want to undertake studies in education but are not intending to seek registration as a qualified school teacher. This course provides exploration of core learning areas of the curriculum along with considerations for diverse needs within an education context. Mentoring, leadership and research within an educational environment will be examined. Students will also have an opportunity to select an educational specialist area of study.

Standard entry
- Applicants require an ATAR (or equivalent) greater than or equal to 70 and study of Mathematics Applications ATAR (or equivalent) is desirable. Alternatively, the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) elements considered are E, V and Q.
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result. Always confirm exclusions for professional registration courses and the offer conditions.
