This course has been introduced to address a significant market demand for skills associated with the design of distributed computing/sensing environments and the networks that underpin them. It encompasses computer technology, in terms of both hardware and software, as well as computer communications and networking incorporating Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs) together with network management and the Internet of Things.
