The Undergraduate Certificate IT Systems and Software Design provides students with an understanding of fundamental concepts and necessary skills in key areas of design, hardware, programming and networking. This will enable students to articulate into entry level careers or continue onto the Diploma of Information Technology, leading to a number of IT degrees at the University of South Australia.

  • Recent secondary Qualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) or equivalent recent year 11 (Stage 1) or year 12 (Stage 2) qualification (including the International Baccalaureate Diploma), and achieve a competitive selection rank. Higher Ed Completed or partially completed a recognised higher education program at a recognised higher education institution, or Completed a University Foundation Studies, Bridging or Enabling program Work-Life Other Completed a non-recent SACE Stage 1 (year 11) or SACE Stage 2 (year 12) qualification or equivalent, or Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT), or Employment experience If you have been employed in the Australian Defence Force you may be eligible to apply for an undergraduate course on the basis of your service.
