Course overview
A comprehensive introduction in the physiological, psychological, social and cultural elements involved in health care. You will also be taught the skills required for successful tertiary studies and foundation concepts that will accelerate your progress in your proposed degree studies.
You can use this Diploma to take you into the second year of a range of different Bachelor preferences at the University of South Australia or into the first year with advanced standing credit. Possible options include Nursing, Physiotherapy, Midwifery, Medical Radiation Science, Exercise and Sports Science, Human Movement, Medical Science or Speech Pathology.

It may be possible to have the Diploma packaged with your UniSA Bachelor preference. Standard entry
- Recent secondary Qualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) or equivalent recent year 11 (Stage 1) or year 12 (Stage 2) qualification (including the International Baccalaureate Diploma). Higher Ed Completed or partially completed a recognised higher education program at a recognised higher education institution, or Completed a University Foundation Studies, Bridging or Enabling program Work-Life Other Completed a non-recent SACE Stage 1 (year 11) or SACE Stage 2 (year 12) qualification or equivalent, or STAT multiple choice test, or Employment experience If you have been employed in the Australian Defence Force you may be eligible to apply for an undergraduate course on the basis of your service.
