During this course, you will choose from a broad range of electives in Marketing, Public Relations, Event Management, Tourism and Hospitality so you can focus on the area you're passionate about. Additionally, you will complete the compulsory Industry Consulting Project subject, which provides first-hand experience in a business environment and develops practical skills to complement your theoretical knowledge. We will support you in your responsibility to find an industry placement(s), so you graduate with invaluable work experience, a built-in professional network and a serious competitive advantage.

Note: This course is also available at our Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney campuses. Flexible study options are available including On-campus, Online or a Hybrid of both.
Areas of Study: Business communications, customer experience management, understanding people and organisations, marketing fundamentals, accounting for decision making, the business environment, strategic management. Students can also choose electives in the areas of event management, public relations and marketing specialisations.
Career Opportunities: Entrepreneur, assistant manager, operations manager, marketing manager, partnership manager, business development manager.
Practical experience: An important element of this course is the placement of the students with an endorsed host organisation(s). Work placements provide a valuable resource for you to develop hands-on practical experience to ensure you graduate confident and job-ready. A key task will be the completion of a reflective journal covering the experience and the identification and analysis of key learning outcomes. Work placement hours: 300 hours.

Standard entry
- Recent secondary Qualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) or equivalent recent year 12 qualification (including the International Baccalaureate Diploma). Higher Ed Completed or partially completed a recognised higher education program at a recognised higher education institution, or Completed a University Foundation Studies, Bridging or Enabling program Work-Life Other Completed a non-recent SACE or equivalent secondary education qualification with a competitive selection rank, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB), or STAT multiple choice test (optional), or Personal competencies and/or employment experience (optional) If you have studied at higher education level in the last two years, you must not have accumulated more than a total of two full-time years of higher education study in order to use your STAT/PCA/Employment results. If you have been employed in the Australian Defence Force you may be eligible to apply for an undergraduate course on the basis of your service. See here .
