During the course you will explore key public health principles and practices aimed at preventing illness and protecting health in the community. Unique features of the course include learning from acclaimed Menzies School of Health Research researchers and experts in the field.
This course requires strong academic reading and writing skills. If you are not confident in your academic literacy skills you will be supported by the University's academic support services.
Entry requirements
Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.
Postgraduate entry
- Higher Ed successful completion of a recognised bachelor degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma, master’s degree or equivalent international qualification. Work-Life Other Registered nurses who are graduates of a hospital-based program are also eligible for entry.
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result. Always confirm exclusions for professional registration courses and the offer conditions.
