This course explores the concepts and theories of architecture, interior design and construction with a particular focus on tropical environments. You will develop theoretical and practical skills in designing the built environment ?buildings and their surrounds, as well as computer-aided design (CAD) and the preparation of design and working drawings.

You will have a sound understanding of the principles and practices of these industries and can use this degree as a stepping stone into more specific qualifications in architecture.

  • Recent secondary Successful recent completion of the SACE / Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent) and the awarding of a competitive Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) Higher Ed Successful completion of at least 0.5 year of full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma, or Completed a University Foundation Studies, Bridging or Enabling program Work-Life Other Completed a non-recent SACE / Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent) qualification with a competitive selection rank, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB), or Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) Personal competencies and/or employment experience (optional) VET Completed an award from a registered training organisation at Certificate IV level or above
